Come see how simple tools of wood, iron, and leather can create an opportunity for you to connect with the history of the game, the outdoors, and each other.
From the Workshop to the Fairway
All our clubs are individual pieces of history. We find original hickory clubs from the 1890s to the early 1930s, and bring them back to their playable glory at our Phoenixville, PA workshop. Our restoration process brings out the natural beauty of the wood and steel. The we customize each club with hand cut leather grips and waxed linen thread in every color of the rainbow.
These clubs are not only beautiful, they are also functional. We ensure the shafts can handle the stress of play, and the club heads are secure. You can experience the unmatched feel of playing golf with hickory clubs with one of our unique creations, restorations, or rental sets.

Classic golf and premium cigars are a timeless combination. This creation was inspired by the label for Los Gallos cigars, a premium artisan cigar maker specializing in Honduran grown tobacco blends.
El Cigarro is a 1910-1920 UK made Spalding with London markings on the club head and markings on the shaft for sale in France. Its unique crosshatch face has twelve degrees of loft and a light feeling B3 swing weight. Total length of the club is 35 inches
The grip is tobacco leather with triple layer underpinning. The whipping is in red and orange to emulate the lit end of a cigar with gradient grey going to white to evoke the ash and a smoke ring. The grip has a “band” of navy and gold in the colors of Los Gallos’ cigar bands.
A unique treasure for any golfer and cigar lover.
Send those putts to the underworld with this left handed putter named for the Egyptian god of resurrection. This lovely hickory and brass putter, made by the Leyland and Birmingham Rubber Company in the 1910s, has a little pyramid stamped on it, so of course we named it for an Egyptian deity. Orisis’ skin was often depicted as green symbolizing fertility and rebirth. He was also typically shown bearing a crook and flail with an alternating blue and yellow pattern. So this club has a green Italian pebble grain leather grip with blue and yellow bands of waxed Irish linen whipping thread. The original hickory shaft is refinished and free of cracks and splits, and gives the club an overall length of 34 inches. The brass club head has 9 degrees of loft and an agile B0 swing weight.

I started playing golf before I was ten years old. Twenty five years later the game had become a frustrating pursuit of lower scores and even lower joy. I quit the game. I donated my two sets of modern fancy “high performance” clubs to a inner city high school for their golf team with the hope that they would bring some joy to a future phenom. Golf became something I used to do.
Ten years later, my family took my father to Scotland for the birthday of a lifetime. While there, we visited a historic site with a private course that only allowed play with antique hickory clubs. Playing a round without the cart, without all the tech, and with the customs and feeling of a time passed was the most fun I had on a golf course in twenty years.
Upon returning to the states, I set out to bring this fun to other golfers like myself. Whether you are new to the game or played for decades, I hope that visiting this site inspires you to play the game more simply and more joyfully than you have before.
