Groundhog Hickory Golf currently has 8 (and growing) right handed rental sets of hickory golf clubs for your next golf weekend, pre-wedding celebration, retirement sendoff, milestone birthday or whatever occasion you want make more fun with some hickory golf.

$75 per set per day with delivery and pickup within a 90 minute drive of Phoenixville, PA.

Set includes driver, mid-iron, mashie, mashie niblick, niblick, and a putter (Driver, 3 iron, 5 iron, 8 iron, pitching wedge, putter). The clubs come in a retro styled bag that works for either a riding cart, pull trolley, or walking.

Frequently Asked Questions and Policies

  • You can use the golf balls you normally play golf with. We ask that you do not use range balls. We can provide 1920s replica balls for $70 a dozen.

  • Hickory golf clubs are surprisingly durable. However, like any golf club, they can break. They WILL break if you play a ball off a cart path, gravel, a road, a tree root, or any hard surface other than grass or bunker sand. If you break a club in the normal course of play, no worries, just bring us back the pieces. If you break a club by intentional action, in a fit of anger, hitting anything other than a golf ball, or playing it off one of the aforementioned surfaces, the event organizer will be charged $150 per club broken. The same goes for lost clubs, stolen clubs, and if you damage or destroy one of our golf bags.

    Any property damage or injuries caused by our clubs, play with our clubs, or by balls struck by our clubs is the liability of the individual golfer.

  • If the forecast is for significant rain, or lightning, we will contact you 48 hours in advance about a reschedule to a mutually acceptable date or outright cancel and issue a refund.

    If sudden weather arrives after the event has started there are no refunds or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations must be at least 24 hours from the start of your event for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours will get a 50% refund.

  • We can travel outside our typical 90 minute range from Phoenixville, PA. Each day of travel will carry a $100 fuel charge, and lodging cost. We will not exceed more than 8 hours of driving in a 24 hour day.

    A final travel total will be included with the invoice and paid before the booking is confirmed.

    Cancellations for events outside the normal travel area will need a minimum 24 hour before we depart for the event location.
